About us

Your diabetology centre in Idstein

As a specialist diabetology practice, we specialise in treating the symptoms and improving the quality of life of people suffering from diabetes mellitus. Over seven percent of all adults in Germany suffer from type 1 or type 2 diabetes alone. Our therapy concept is based on continuous patient care as well as a variety of patient training programmes. The Idstein Diabetes Centre builds on the expertise of Dr. Jansen's practice, which was located in the same location until mid-2024.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, as a new patient you are welcome to make an appointment by telephone or via Doctolib. During your first appointment, we will take plenty of time to assess your medical history and current condition. Please take a printout of your findings from other doctors with you or upload them to Doctolib before your visit.
Disease-Management-Programme (DMP) sind Behandlungsprogramme für Menschen mit chronischen Erkrankungen. Deshalb werden sie auch „Chroniker-Programme“ genannt.

Die Programme beruhen auf dem aktuellen Forschungsstand und sollen eine hochwertige Versorgung der Patientinnen und Patienten sicherstellen. Sie beinhalten zum Beispiel eine gute Abstimmung unterschiedlicher Behandlungen, regelmäßige Verlaufskontrollen, aber auch die Beratung und Schulung der Betroffenen im Umgang mit ihrer Krankheit.

In der Praxis bieten wir insbesondere folgende Programme an:

  • Diabetes mellitus Typ 1
  • Diabetes mellitus Typ 2
  • Koronare Herzkrankheit (KHK)

Bei Diabetes mellitus kann Ihr Hausarzt oder Ihre Hausärztin zusätzlich in koordinierender Funktion auftreten. So ist eine enge Zusammenarbeit mit uns als Diabetologen möglich.
